My First Week of Doing Whole 30

I didn't even notice it has been an entire week of doing Whole 30. Whole 30 is clean eating to the next level. You will still eat lean meats, vegetables, and fruit, but you cannot have any dairy, grains, or sugar of any kind. You also cannot eat legumes, consume alcohol, and you are limited on ingredients in foods and seasonings. Whole 30 is free and takes you back to the basics.
What is the Whole30®?
Certain food groups (like sugar, grains, dairy and legumes) could be having a negative impact on your health and fitness without you even realizing it. Are your energy levels inconsistent or non-existent? Do you have aches and pains that can’t be explained by over-use or injury? Are you having a hard time losing weight no matter how hard you try? Do you have some sort of condition (like skin issues, digestive ailments, seasonal allergies or fertility issues) that medication hasn’t helped? These symptoms may be directly related to the foods you eat – even the “healthy” stuff. So how do you know if (and how) these foods are affecting you?

My First Fitness Challenge P90

I will be starting my first fitness challenge. I ordered the new P90 (released this past September) and it is finally here. P90 is supposed to be a less intense version of the P90x series and I thought I would be a great option since I have an issue with my right knee. I figured it can ease me into higher intense challenges. I also wanted a switch up in my workout routine. I usually do Zumba, but will do Tae Bo from time to time. I want to incorporate more strength related exercises also. Toady I will starting and I will keep you posted along the way. Below are my starting numbers and pics. I will update my numbers at the 30, 60, and 90 day mark as well.....

Challenge Accepted....100 Days of Happiness

I can not tell you guys how crazy my life has been since May. Although this year started off  in more amazing ways than I can describe, my life took a drastic change going into May. Since then I have been slowly picking up the pieces of my life but I can't lie; it has been extremely difficult.

I love to share my life journey with you guys to show you I am not immune to life struggles and to reach those who are in need of someone to help them through theirs. Constantly telling myself what I need to do but never executing it is a big thing for me. Lately I have found myself doing that a lot due to the stress and other factors in my life.

At some point you have to grab life by the horns and get into gear to achieve the life you want to have. That is what I am doing starting today. There are a few things I am putting in place to help me along my journey. The major things I want to focus on is handling my stress/frustration/anger, my weight/overall health, and certain areas in my business.

There a few things I plan to do to that. I plan to write in a journal, update my vision boards in my room, pray and read my bible, and the last thing is something I thought can be fun is taking the 100happydays challenge. I have a few friends that are currently doing it and I wanted to see if it cant help me get out of this funk I am in.

I think something like this is great for people who want to improve on the way they think about certain aspects in their lives. So if you have body image issues, financial issues, relationship issues or any other thing you might be going through, you should give this challenge a try. You can sign up HERE and get started which ever day you chose. I hope this will help you on your journey. Follow my instagram @sizefabulous to see my daily challenge post.

Let me know if you sign up and we can stay in touch throughout the journey!!!!!

Maximize Your Closet Space

I will be moving this May and I couldn't be happier. I will be moving into a townhouse and will have sooo much more space EXCEPT for my closet. Now I will be getting a walk-in closet, however, I will have to share my closet. The apartment I'm in now I have the whole closet to myself which allowed me to acquire a enormous amount of clothing and shoes. I am definitely not happy to share my closet *major side eye as I type this* but I want to be fair LOL. Being that I will know have less closet space I have to utilize space saving tools to get the most out of my side.

I want to share with you the things I will be using to maximize my closet space so you can maximize your space if you need a little help doing so. Once I move and get my side of the closet in order I will make a video about it to show you. Everything below I found at Target, but I will shop around to find the lowest price to save some money.

P.S. I will also do a closet audit before I move to limit the amount of clothing and shoes I bring with me. That is a great way to start when you want to organize your closet.

For the top of your closet....

Use bins like below to keep items organized and in place to save space and avoid unnecessary messiness.
Room Essentials: Large Tapered Basket $14.99
Badger Basket: Folding Basket $11.99

To expand the amount of clothes you hang up....

Rod doublers are the best. The allow you to have a second clothing rod for more clothing to hang up. Hanging organizers also allow you to put more clothing in the closet that would take up space elsewhere.

Honey-Can-Do: Adjustable Closet Rod $19.99
6 Shelf Organizer $18.99

Where am I going to put my shoes???????

Ok so if you are a shoe fanatic like me you have to think long and hard about where you will put your shoes. The first option is a shoe rack. Usually a basic shoe rack will do just fine for most. I have decided to get bookcases for my shoes. I have too many for a regular shoe rack. Whatever the shoe amount there is always a solution

Seville Classics: 3 Tier Shoe Rack $28.49
Room Essentials: 5 Shelf Bookcase $32.99
I hope this helps you get your closet in order. I will share my finished result after everything is completed.

ModCloth: Uniquely You Campaign

I was recently asked to participate in the ModCloth Uniquely You Campaign through a Look Challenge between myself and other bloggers. I though it was such a cool idea and anytime I can put a look together I am down. We had to create a complete look from the dress they selected and up to seven other items on their site. The winner will have their look shared on ModCloth's Polyvore page with credits to the blogger. Everyone style is different so I will be excited to see what others come up with.
