Wet Seal to Focus More on Plus Size ONLY Store Locations
Many retailers, like Wet Seal, are coming to understand that the plus size clothing industry is booming and is only increasing in revenue. Wet Seal focusing on plus only shows that the demand and revenue is there and should not be ignored. Although many still feel this is a big risk, the company feels this is the right step to take.
To get out their continuously dropping sales slump, Wet Seal Inc. is looking to the plus size clothing industry to help them out of it. Last fall Wet Seal opened a plus only store in California and also added plus sizes to some of their existing stores to expand their customer base.
In an article on apparelnews.net, Chief Executive John D. Goodman stated in a press release that “Going forward, we think this could be a sizable part of our business over the next few years,” Goodman said, speaking during a March 21 conference call about the company’s fourth quarter and fiscal 2013 results. “It’s just the beginning stages, but we feel like the investment is not that significant in terms of what we need to do to drive the performance of junior plus.” Goodman, hired last year to give the retailer a new lease on retail life, took over the company when it was hemorrhaging money and on a rocky course.
Like any other retailer this will not be a quick fix and it may take some time to get back to there past financial status, but all is not lost and you definitely can't say they are not trying. I am happy they are opening more plus stores. I just hope they spread their stores out instead of most of them being in California. It is nice to have more walk in stores than ordering online all the time.
What are your thoughts??

My Top 5 Shoe Companies for Big Feet
I wear a size 11 in shoes and like many of you I have a difficult time just walking into a store and buying a pair of shoes. It sucks that many stores only carry up to a size 10. However, now that I have my own boutique that sells shoes, I know that it can be hard to get larger sizes from the manufacture. Although I am working on bringing more size 11's to my boutique I would like to share my top 5 places to buy size 11 shoes.
1. ShoeDazzle
ShoeDazzle has AMAZING shoes and all of them have size 11's available. Being that ShoeDazzle is very popular their size 11's do sell out fast so you kind of have to stay on top of new arrivals and sales. ShoeDazzle has been my go to place lately and their sales are awesome.
2. DSW
DSW has a large selections of shoes that have size 11's available. You do have to really look though because one brand my have an 11 in one shoe and in another shoe they don't. I love DSW for their larger sizes in good quality brands.
3. JustFab
JustFab was one of my first go to places for ordering shoes online. I still love JustFab and they are quite similar to ShoeDazzle (JustFab actually just bought ShoeDazzle). JustFab also carriers wide calf boots. But just like ShoeDazzle, JustFab's larger sizes sell out fast.
4. Payless
Many people are not a fan of Payless but I am a huge fan. Payless has stepped up the quality of their shoes (which unfortunately increased prices). They have shoes that go up to a size 13 I believe and they definitely have cute shoes for larger sizes. Payless is not what it used to be so don't sleep on them.
5. Torrid, Lane Bryant, Catherin's
I grouped these stores together because I look at them in the same light. These are plus size companies that focuses are larger sizes. Although they do carry small sizes, you will rarely see them go out of stock of size 11's and some even carry size 12's. They also are go to places for wide calf boots. The shoe designs are not always as stylish as ShoeDazzle but they do have a few gems so check them out.

NeNe Leakes to Launch Clothing Line Through HSN for Sizes Up to 24
I love me some NeNe Leakes honey!!!! On this season of Real Housewives of Atlanta, NeNe brought the camera along while she met with HSN (Home Shopping Network) staff to go over samples and ideas for her clothing line. She didn't give much info at the time but last night on twitter she announced her line with HSN will be out in July and will cater to sizes 2-24.
I am so elated that NeNe is not excluding plus sizes from her line. We often come across celebrates who wont include our sizes or don't disclose that they do have them and then we end up finding out they do on our own. NeNe isn't the slimmest woman herself, so it is only right to represent for the fuller figured woman. I am excited to see the designs and get more details on prices of her line. More details are to come and all I can say is "NeNe will get her checks honey!"

No Limitations on Your Body!!
I always like to share videos that shows plus size women having fun while dancing and showing others that they are not letting their size get in the way of them having fun and doing something they love. Confidence is key and never let your size put limitations on your body. Don't be scared to let your hair down and have a little fun. It also keeps you active and we all need to be a little active. Check out these ladies getting it in!!!!
