Let's Get Real

Let's keep it real for a minute, I love getting dolled up all the time but sometimes I just want to keep it real casual. I know many of you can relate. We don't always have to rock that pencil skirt or that curve hugging dress. We want to rock some jeans and a tee sometimes and still keep it cute.

On those days when you want to keep it casual but still have a little spunk and sparkle, all you need is a pair of heels to take your look to the next level. In this look I kept it very casual. I can actually throw a pair of sneakers on with it and it would still be cute. On a day when you want to be chill but include a little spark...grab a pair of statement heels and strut your stuff!

It's a Casual Affair in Winter

Everyday is not a day when you have to be dressed to the nines and usual that's how I am during winter. The winters here are so brutal that most of the time I am way more casual than not. It is annoying having to deal with switching shoes out once you reach or need to leave a location, Even bundling up in very cold weather takes away from your hot look. So I tone it down a notch during winter to save the hassle. That doesn't mean I look a mess when I walk out the door though. I still keep it cute but it is just more casual. Like this look today!

The Lumberjack in Leather

I love plaid, tartan, or whatever you want to call it and I love leather (or leather like). So why not mix them together???? This is such a casual look that you can wear this anywhere. It also kept me warm too LOL

Do The Bunny Hop

Sweatshirts and hoodies are definitely popping this season and there are so many ways to make them look sleek, chic and cool. I couldn't pass up on this bunny sweatshirt and it actually looks more like a sweater to me. I could definitely rock this to work!

New Year...Great Beginnings

Happy New Year Ladies!!! I hope you all brought in 2014 as fabulous as always. I am super excited for 2014. I have so many things in the works and I can't wait to share it with you guys. The first thing is that I am starting a Size Fabulous Fit & Healthy Blog. It should go live around the weekend. Next is that I will become a jewelry merchandiser. My jewelry boutique should also be live sometime this weekend. I have more coming but I will share it as it comes a little closer. Until then, here is my fist look of 2014!

Girls Night In for New Years Eve

Not everyone is heading out for a night out on the town for New Years Eve. Many will be staying in and spending it with those closest to them. I am one of those people. I am usually home for New Years Eve (mainly because I can never get a sitter) but having a girls night can be just as fun as the club. If you are heading over to a friends but still want to dress up, there are simple touches you can add to your look. This is my take on what I would wear over to a friend's house. It's simple but has a touch of glam. Cheers to 2014!!!!!!!!!

Christmas Was Different This Year

This Christmas just seemed so different for some reason. There wasn't much family in town since everyone came for Thanksgiving and we ended our night very early this year. Usually we are at my grandmother's house till exhaustion kicks in. This time we were heading home at 6:30pm. The boo had to work the night shift and I had to go to work in the morning so we called it a night EARLY. The one thing that did not change is the girls enjoying their Christmas. Nothing makes me happier than the smiles on their faces. Being that nothing much was going on I kept my look real chill and casual.
